In Untitled (Girl),I press clay into a mold of my grandfather 232/243/272/292 times and juxtapose them with everyday objects. Similar to Nancy Spero, I see this series as a protest. It is not a war that I am protesting directly, but a much more subtle struggle, that of gendered living under patriarchy. The number represents the overthree hundred girls that went missing in April 2014 this time in Nigeria.
